What it does

• Requires each state agency to make a list of all publications it creates by law, regulation, or legislative direction.
• Asks agencies to mark items on the list that are outdated, duplicated, excessive, improved through consolidation, or could be sent electronically instead of physically.
• Sets a schedule for agencies to send their publication lists to the governor and legislature every ten years by October 31.
• Requires the governor to submit a bill every ten years to eliminate or modify requirements for publications identified as outdated, duplicative, excessive, or suitable for electronic delivery only.
• Updates specific laws so that certain reports no longer need to be printed in books, newspapers, or mailed as physical copies.
