Subject: Authorizes purchase of embossed license plates. Summary/Major Elements: Current statutes on the design of Wyoming license plates does not require that numerals and figures be embossed. This act: Authorizes the Department of Transportation to issue embossed license plates upon request and the payment of an extra $50 fee; Requires an application for embossed plates at least 90 days before the expiration of plates previously issued for the same vehicle; Directs the Department to prescribe the design of the embossed license plates; Authorizes the Department to adopt rules and forms to implement the embossed license plate program.
