Subject: Periodic auditing of school district data submitted to the Department of Education for purposes of school finance formula computations. Summary/Major Elements: School district audits conducted by the Department of Audit; Eliminates special provision for school audits of vocational education information and computations every three years, which places this component on the regular auditing schedule for all other model components; Regular audit schedule is to conduct a complete audit of each district once every five years, and to conduct individual component audits statewide which review any component for which district audits identify special data or reporting issues.
