SYNOPSIS:
Under existing law, a community development
district may be created within a dry county, which
permits the sale of alcoholic beverages within that
district.
This bill would repeal Act 2025-294, which had
authorized the annexation of a certain type of
community development district by a wet municipality in
the county where the district is situated.
A BILL
TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
Relating to community development districts; to repeal
Act 2025-294, authorizing the annexation of a specific
community development district.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
Section 1. Act 2025-294, authorizing the annexation of
a specific community development district, is repealed.
Section 2. This act shall become effective immediately.
