FOR AN ACT ENTITLED

"An Act relating to a failure to report a violent crime." 1
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 2
* Section 1. AS 11.56.767(d) is amended to read: 3
(d) Failure to report a violent crime committed against an adu lt is a class B 4
misdemeanor [VIOLATION]. 5
* Sec. 2. The uncodified law of the State of Alaska is amended by adding a new section to 6
read: 7
APPLICABILITY. AS 11.56.767(d), as amended by sec. 1 of this Ac t, applies to 8
offenses committed on or after the effective date of this Act. 9
