"An Act relating to live music and entertainment at breweries, wineries, and 1
distilleries." 2
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA: 3
* Section 1. AS 04.09.320(e) is amended to read: 4
(e) Except as provided under (g) of this section [AND AS 04.09 .700], the 5
holder of a brewery retail license may not 6
(1) allow live music or performances, disc jockeys, karaoke, 7
televisions, pool tables, dart ga mes, or organized games or tou rnaments on the 8
premises where the consumption occurs; 9
(2) provide seats at the counter or bar where the brewed bever ages are 10
served; 11
(3) open the room where the consumption occurs before 9:00 a.m.; or 12
(4) serve brewed beverages after 9:00 p.m. 13

consumption occurs 2
(1) activities, presentations, television or video displays, o r other 3
displays that directly promote or educate customers about the b rewery's products, 4
processes, or establishment; [AND] 5
(2) other community organiza tions or businesses to provide 6
presentations, classes, or product displays or host fundraisers; and 7
(3) not more than four live music events or other entertainmen t 8
performances in a calendar year. 9
