Relating to the comprehensive plans of first and second class boroughs. 1

* Section 1. AS 29.40.030(a) is amended to read: 3
(a) The comprehensive plan is a compilation of policy statemen ts, goals, 4
standards, and maps for guiding the physical, social, and econo mic development, both 5
private and public, of the first or second class borough, and m ay include, but is not 6
limited to, the following: 7
(1) statements of policies, goals, and standards; 8
(2) a land use plan; 9
(3) a community facilities plan; 10
(4) a transportation plan; [AND] 11
(5) a housing development plan; and 12
(6) recommendations for implementation of the comprehensive plan. 13
