Purpose

Appropriates
$2,457,100 from the state General Fund (state GF) in FY 2027 to the Arizona
Department of Transportation (ADOT) to distribute to the City of Williams for
the Rodeo Road pavement replacement and trail connector project.

Background

ADOT is tasked
with providing an integrated balanced state transportation system and has
exclusive control and jurisdiction over all: 1) state highways; 2) state roads;
3) state-owned airports; and 4) state-owned transportation systems or modes.
ADOT is responsible for the design and construction of transportation
facilities in accordance with a priority plan and to maintain and operate all
state-owned highways, airports and public transportation systems (A.R.S. ��

).

Be it
enacted by the Legislature of the State of Arizona:

Section 1.
Appropriation;

project

The sum of $2,457,100 is appropriated
from the state general fund in fiscal year 2026-2027 to the department of
transportation to distribute to the city of Williams for the Rodeo Road
pavement replacement and trail connector project.
