WHEREAS, the Mansfield High School Tigers won the 2025 Class 3A state 18
championship held on December 13, 2025, at War Memorial Stadium in Little 19
Rock, Arkansas; and 20

WHEREAS, the Tigers won the championship game during their first-ever 22
state championship appearance by besting the Fordyce High School Redbugs with 23
a final score of forty (40) points to thirty (30) points (40-30); and 24

WHEREAS, with their championship victory, the Tigers won their first 26
state championship in program history and set a record for the most rushing 27

victory, "When I came to Mansfield, everybody thought I was crazy leaving a 21
program like Booneville like I did. I just believed in myself, and I believe 22
in this community that I could come to a place like Mansfield and have that 23
similar success. When you have great kids that buy into it and that want to 24
work hard, and you know we don't have a lot on the team, but those kids are 25
dedicated completely to being a champion. And they proved it tonight, that 26
that's what it takes – hard work and effort.", 27

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL 30
