CLASS 6A STATE CHAMPIONS. 16

WHEREAS, the Rogers High School Mounties boys' golf team won the Class 18
6A state championship held on October 7 and 8, 2025, at Burns Park in North 19
Little Rock, Arkansas; and 20
21
WHEREAS, the Mounties were the 6A West Conference Champions; and 22
23
WHEREAS, season highlights for the Mounties included a win at the Red 24
Dog Invitational and placing as runner-up at the Fayetteville Bulldog Classic 25
and tying for first place at the Rogers Mountie/War Eagle Classic; and 26
27
WHEREAS, the Mounties team members were Clancy Hardin, Stiles Hunter, 28
Jagger Jones, Noah Regan, Hudson Roach, and Kiptin Kinnard; and 29

WHEREAS, the Mounties achieved a two-day total of five hundred ninety-31
nine (599) and won the championship by four (4) strokes; and 32

WHEREAS, senior Stiles Hunter finished the 2025 Class 6A Boys State 34
Golf Tournament with a top-ranking two-day total of one hundred forty (140); 35

WHEREAS, junior Noah Regan finished the competition with a two-day 2
total of one hundred forty-six (146); and 3

WHEREAS, team members Stiles Hunter and Noah Regan earned All-5
Conference and All-State Honors; and 6

WHEREAS, the Mounties are led by Coach Marcus Alexander; and 8

WHEREAS, Coach Marcus Alexander said of the win, "Our championship run 10
this past year was driven by exceptional senior leadership and a never quit 11
attitude shared by every member of the team. Battling from behind on both 12
days to secure Conference and State titles demonstrated our golfers’ 13
commitment to one another and their focus on team success over individual 14
performance. This was truly a team victory – one that required everyone to 15
stay united and committed to the same goal from start to finish. It’s a 16
great day to be a Mountie.", 17

NOW THEREFORE, 19
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL 20
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS: 21

THAT the House of Representatives recognize the Rogers High School 23
Mounties boys' golf team as the 2025 Class 6A State Champions. 24

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT upon adoption, a copy of this resolution be 26
presented to Coach Marcus Alexander by the Chief Clerk of the House of 27
Representatives. 28
