WHEREAS, the Mountain Home High School Bombers boys' cross country team 19
won the Class 5A state championship in Hot Springs, Arkansas, on Friday, 20
November 7, 2025; and 21

WHEREAS, the Bombers won the Class 5A state championship with a final 23
score of thirty (30) points, sixty-two (62) points lower than the next 24
ranking team; and 25

WHEREAS, with their victory at the 2025 Class 5A state championship, 27
the Bombers have won four (4) consecutive state titles and have won state 28
titles five (5) of the last seven (7) years; and 29

WHEREAS, the Bombers team manager was Pixie Bolick; and 7

WHEREAS, the Bombers were trained by Athletic Trainers Callie Hendricks 9

WHEREAS, the Bombers were supported by Athletic Director Mitch Huskey, 12
Principal Mary Beth Russell, Assistant Principal Steve Morris, Assistant 13
Principal Philip Goodwin, Assistant Superintendent Judy Lawrence, and 14

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL 25
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS: 26

THAT the House of Representatives recognize the Mountain Home High 28
School Bombers boys' cross country track team as the 2025 Class 5A state 29

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT upon adoption, a copy of this resolution be 32
presented to Head Coach Wil Norris by the Chief Clerk of the House of 33
