GIRLS' CROSS COUNTRY STATE CHAMPIONS. 17

WHEREAS, the Mountain Home High School Lady Bombers girls' cross 19
country team won the Class 5A state championship in Hot Springs, Arkansas, on 20
Friday, November 7, 2025; and 21

WHEREAS, the Lady Bombers won the Class 5A state championship with a 23
final score of eighty-six (86), six (6) points lower than the next ranking 24
team; and 25

WHEREAS, with their victory at the 2025 Class 5A state championship, 27
the Lady Bombers earned their first state title since 2021 and have won state 28
titles in three (3) of the last six (6) years; and 29

WHEREAS, the Lady Bombers team members are Hailie Chandler, Jamie 31
Chandler, Savannah Costner, Camilla Johnson, Kristen Eddings, Cisily 32
Goettler, Alivia Gordon, Lucy Koehn, Trinity McGlone, Brook Bertalotto; and 33

WHEREAS, Lady Bombers team members Lucy Koehn, Cisily Goettler, and 35
Savannah Costner earned All-State honors; and 36

WHEREAS, the Lady Bombers team manager was Pixie Bolick; and 2

WHEREAS, the Lady Bombers were trained by Athletic Trainers Callie 4
Hendricks and Weston Vickers; and 5

WHEREAS, the Lady Bombers were supported by Athletic Director Mitch 7
Huskey, Principal Mary Beth Russell, Assistant Principals Steve Morris and 8
Philip Goodwin, Assistant Superintendent Judy Lawrence, and Superintendent 9
Allyson Dewey; and 10

WHEREAS, the Lady Bombers were led by Head Coach Tilda Helgesson, 12
Assistant Coach Wil Norris, and Assistant Coach Roddy Patrick; and 13

WHEREAS, for the first time in program history, Mountain Home High 15
School swept both the boys' and girls' Class 5A cross country state 16
championships in 2025, 17

NOW THEREFORE, 19
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL 20
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS: 21

THAT the House of Representatives recognize the Mountain Home High 23
School Lady Bombers girls' cross country track team as the 2025 Class 5A 24
state champions. 25

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT upon adoption, a copy of this resolution be 27
presented to Head Coach Tilda Helgesson by the Chief Clerk of the House of 28
Representatives. 29
