WHEREAS, the Central Arkansas Christian High School Choir achieved Best 21
in Class 3A Medium Mixed Chorus and Best in Class 3A Overall Medium Chorus at 22
the State Choral Festival held at the University of Central Arkansas in 23
Conway on April 13, 2026; and 24

WHEREAS, this is the first time that the Mustang Choir has won Best in 26
Class at the State Choral Festival; and 27

WHEREAS, the Mustang Choir members are Callie Ashberry, Elizabeth 29
Black, Hannah Doyle, Cooper Gates, Karsen Henson, Joseph Price, Caroline 30
Schimmel, Miranda Semanek, Miracle Sullivan, Piper Zakrzewski, Jarett Baker, 31
Avery Beauchamp, Ainsley Brown, Sterling Chunn, Carson Collier, Kaycee 32
Collins, Brady Grice, Keegan Harris, Luke Irwin, Connor Mann, Addison 33
Millard, Elijah Poe, Elizabeth Prestridge, Adelaide Pritchett, Wyatt Smith, 34
and John Via; and 35

WHEREAS, the Mustang Choir is led by Choir Director Dr. Tamara Harper; 1

WHEREAS, also integral to the Mustang Choir's success was the support 4
of the faculty and staff of Central Arkansas Christian Schools, including 5
Principal Julie Parker, Assistant Principals Matt Hall and Janice Northen, 6
and President Dr. Andy Stewart, 7

NOW THEREFORE, 9
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL 10
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS: 11

THAT the House of Representatives congratulate and commend the Central 13
Arkansas Christian High School Choir for being awarded 2026 Best in Class 3A 14
and for the high standards and caliber of performance of its students and 15
director. 16

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT upon adoption, a copy of this resolution be 18
presented to Choir Director Dr. Tamara Harper by the Chief Clerk of the House 19
of Representatives. 20
