locations in Van Buren and Fort Smith, Arkansas; and 19

WHEREAS, Kopper Kettle Candies was established in 1925 and has been a 21
staple of the Arkansas River Valley for over one hundred (100) years; and 22

WHEREAS, Kopper Kettle Candies has been a family-owned business for 24
three (3) generations; and 25

WHEREAS, Kopper Kettle Candies continues to craft high-quality 27
chocolates, molded candies, and seasonal specialties with the same dedication 28
to craftsmanship that has defined the business for over one hundred (100) 29

store in Arkansas and the number five (5) candy store in the United States, 33
according to a recent nationwide ranking published by the culinary and travel 34

including Kopper Kettle Candies, for their nostalgic charm and artisanal 2

United States and highlighted establishments that offer exceptional quality, 6
deep community ties, and a unique customer experience; and 7

WHEREAS, third-generation owner Thomas Greer said of the ranking, "We 9

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL 18

THAT the House of Representatives congratulate Kopper Kettle Candies 21
for its national recognition as the top candy store in Arkansas and as the 22
top fifth candy store in the United States. 23

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT upon adoption, a copy of this resolution be 25
