WHEREAS, the Joe T. Robinson High School Senators football team won the 18
2025 Class 5A state championship held on December 6, 2025, at War Memorial 19
Stadium in Little Rock, Arkansas; and 20

WHEREAS, the Senators won the championship game by besting the Lakeside 22
High School Rams with a score of thirty-four to nineteen (34-19) during the 23
Senators' first year in Class 5A; and 24

WHEREAS, with their championship victory, the Senators won their fourth 26
state championship in program history of five (5) finals appearances; and 27
28
WHEREAS, the Senators completed the season with a perfect season record 29
of fourteen wins and zero losses (14-0), a program first; and 30

WHEREAS, the Senators team members were Kyrin Grimes, Tank Reese, Deuce 32
Williams, Braylyn Brown, Hakim Frampton, Jaiden Todd, Kaylon Norwood, Charles 33
Petty, Damon Salley, Aaron McAdory, Jackson Redman, Reece Simpson, Matthew 34

WHEREAS, Senators team members Deuce Williams, Tank Reese, Deminio 15
Patterson, Hakim Frampton, Kyrin Grimes, Caleb Smith, Lennox Campos, and 16
Jackson Redman earned All-State honors; and 17

WHEREAS, the Senators were led by Head Coach Tyler Uptergrove, 19
Assistant Head Coach and Running Back Coach Jeff Risner, Offensive 20
Coordinator Tye Brown, Co-Defensive Coordinator, Front Six, Benjamin Shields, 21
Co-Defensive Coordinator, Secondary, Trent Dunn, Offensive Line Coach Jordan 22
Driver, Wide Receivers Coach Casey Cross, Wide Receivers Coach DeWayne 23
Frampton, Tight Ends and H-Backs Coach Darrelle White, Defensive Line Coach 24
Rodney Bolden, Defensive Line Coach Keilan Patterson, Safeties Coach Adam 25
Ackin, Corners Coach Tonda Bullock, Offense Assistant Coach Tra James, and 26

WHEREAS, Senators Head Coach Tyler Uptergrove has been with the team as 29
an assistant coach for fifteen (15) years, and the 2025 season was his first 30
year as head coach; and 31

WHEREAS, Senators Head Coach Tyler Uptergrove was honored with the 2025 33
Farm Bureau Insurance Awards 5A Coach of the Year award for his performance 34
during the 2025 football season; and 35

WHEREAS, Senators Head Coach Tyler Uptergrove said of the team and 1
season, "What a year! So proud of our kids and coaches. Started the process 2
332 days ago. Through all the blood, sweat, sprains and broken bones, they 3
competed for one another. Most resilient group of kids I’ve ever coached. To 4
my seniors, I love you and appreciate everything you gave to this program. 5
You set the standard for our program and the classes that follow you. Can’t 6
wait to see what you do next in life!", 7

NOW THEREFORE, 9
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL 10
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS: 11

THAT the House of Representatives recognize the Joe T. Robinson High 13
School Senators football team as the 2025 Class 5A state champions. 14

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT upon adoption, a copy of this resolution be 16
presented to Head Coach Tyler Uptergrove by the Chief Clerk of the House of 17
Representatives. 18
