WHEREAS, the Joe T. Robinson High School Senators football team won the 18
2025 Class 5A state championship held on December 6, 2025, at War Memorial 19
Stadium in Little Rock, Arkansas; and 20

WHEREAS, the Senators won the championship game by besting the Lakeside 22
High School Rams with a score of thirty-four to nineteen (34-19) during the 23
Senators' first year in Class 5A; and 24

WHEREAS, with their championship victory, the Senators won their fourth 26
state championship in program history of five (5) finals appearances; and 27

WHEREAS, the Senators completed the season with a perfect season record 29
of fourteen wins and zero losses (14-0), a program first; and 30

WHEREAS, Senators Head Coach Tyler Uptergrove said of the team and 1
season, "What a year! So proud of our kids and coaches. Started the process 2

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL 10
ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS: 11

THAT the House of Representatives recognize the Joe T. Robinson High 13
School Senators football team as the 2025 Class 5A state champions. 14

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT upon adoption, a copy of this resolution be 16
presented to Head Coach Tyler Uptergrove by the Chief Clerk of the House of 17
Representatives. 18
