Official Summary Text

AB 2677, as introduced, Lowenthal.
Essential services buildings.
The Essential Services Buildings Seismic Safety Act of 1986 requires the appropriate enforcement agency, which in the case of state-owned facilities is the Division of the State Architect, to review the design and inspect the construction of essential services buildings or the reconstruction, alteration, or addition to any essential services building, as provided.
This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to these provisions.
