AB 272, as amended, Aguiar-Curry.
Heavy-Duty Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance Program.
Existing law requires the State Air Resources Board to adopt and implement a regulation for a Heavy-Duty Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance Program for nongasoline heavy-duty onroad motor vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating of more than 14,000 pounds, as provided. Existing law requires the state board to provide 2 biennial reports on its internet website within 4 years following the full implementation of the program.
This bill would instead require, within 4 years following the full implementation of the program, but not later than
February 1, 2026,
December 31, 2026,
the state board to provide the first of the 2 biennial reports on its internet
website.
