Official Summary Text

SB 1346, as introduced, McGuire.
California Coastal Commission: powers and duties.
The California Coastal Act of 1976 provides for the planning and regulation of development, under a coastal development permit process, within the coastal zone, as defined, that shall be based on various coastal resources planning and management policies set forth in the act. Existing law requires the California Coastal Commission to periodically review its regulations and procedures and determine what revisions, if any, are necessary and appropriate to simplify and expedite the review of any matter that is before the commission, as provided.
This bill would make nonsubstantive changes to the latter provision relating to the commission.
