Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado:1
SECTION 1. In Colorado Revised Statutes, 17-1-168, amend2
(3)(e) and (5); and add (3)(g), (3)(h), and (3)(i) as follows:3
17-1-168. Broadband infrastructure cash fund - created -4
repeal.5
(3) Subject to annual appropriation by the general assembly, the6
department may expend money from the fund to install broadband7
infrastructure at the following correctional facilities:8
(e) San Carlos correctional facility; and9
(g) TRINIDAD CORRECTIONAL FACILITY;10
(h) ARKANSAS VALLEY CORRECTIONAL FACILITY; AND11
(i) ARROWHEAD CORRECTIONAL FACILITY.12
(5) This section is repealed, effective July 1, 2027 JULY 1, 2028.13
SECTION 2. Safety clause. The general assembly finds,14
determines, and declares that this act is necessary for the immediate15
preservation of the public peace, health, or safety or for appropriations for16
the support and maintenance of the departments of the state and state17
institutions.18
