CONCERNING THE USE OF MONEY FROM THE BROADBAND INFRASTRUCTURE
CASH FUND.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado:
SECTION 1. In Colorado Revised Statutes, 17-1-168, amend (3 )( e)
and (5); and add (3)(g), (3)(h), and (3)(i) as follows:
17-1-168. Broadband infrastructure cash fund- created-repeal.
(3) Subject to annual appropriation by the general assembly, the
department may expend money from the fund to install broadband
infrastructure at the following correctional facilities:
( e) San Carlos correctional facility; and
(g) TRINIDAD CORRECTIONAL FACILITY;
(h) ARKANSAS VALLEY CORRECTIONAL FACILITY; AND
Capital letters or bold & italic numbers indicate new material added to existing law; dashes
through words or numbers indicate deletions from existing law and such material is not part of
the act.
(i) ARROWHEAD CORRECTIONAL FACILITY.
(5) This section is repealed, effective July 1, 2027 JULY I, 2028.
SECTION 2. Safety clause. The general assembly finds,
determines, and declares that this act is necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health, or safety or for appropriations for

institutions.
