grant program cash fund to the general fund on June 30, 2026, and repeals
the wildfire resilient homes grant program, effective July 1, 2026.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado:1
SECTION 1. In Colorado Revised Statutes, 24-33.5-1239, add2
(4)(c) and (7) as follows:3
24-33.5-1239. Wildfire resilient homes grant program - fund4
- rules - report - definitions - repeal.5
(4) (c) ON JUNE 30, 2026, THE STATE TREASURER SHALL TRANSFER6
THE UNEXPENDED AND UNENCUMBERED BALANCE OF THE WILDFIRE7
RESILIENT HOMES GRANT PROGRAM CASH FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND.8
(7) THIS SECTION IS REPEALED, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2026.9
SECTION 2. Safety clause. The general assembly finds,10
determines, and declares that this act is necessary for the immediate11
preservation of the public peace, health, or safety or for appropriations for12
the support and maintenance of the departments of the state and state13
institutions.14
