AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR ROAD WORK IN
THE TOWN OF NEW MILFORD.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:

That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3 -20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
____ dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the Department of 4
Transportation for the purpose of providing a grant -in-aid to the town 5
of New Milford for the completion of road work in said town that is 6
recommended in the department's October 2024 New Milford Road 7
Safety Audit report. 8
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding for road work recommended in the Department of
Transportation's New Milford Road Safety Audit report dated October
2024.
