AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING TO EXPAND THE BUS RAPID
TRANSIT SERVICE TO CONNECT HARTFORD, EAST HARTFORD,
MANCHESTER, ROCKVILLE AND STORRS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:

That additional funds be appropriated to the Department of 1
Transportation for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2027, for the purposes 2
of expanding the bus rapid transit system to include routes connecting 3
Hartford to Storrs with bus stations located, at a minimum, in East 4
Hartford, Manchester and Rockville. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To expand the bus rapid transit system and provide sustainable transit
opportunities for individuals in communities located east of the
Connecticut River.
