AN ACT CONCERNING FUNDING FOR SURVIVORS OF HOMICIDE,
INC.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:

That the sum of ___ dollars be appropriated to the Department of 1
Mental Health and Addiction Services, from the General Fund, for the 2
fiscal year ending June 30, 2027, for a grant -in-aid to Survivors of 3
Homicide, Inc. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding to Survivors of Homicide, Inc. to provide mental
health and supportive counseling to more families after the loss of a
loved one to homicide and mitigate a potential loss of funding.
