AN ACT CONCERNING AN INCREASE OF THE PER PUPIL
FOUNDATION AMOUNT FOR PURPOSES OF THE EDUCATION COST
SHARING GRANT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:

That subdivision (9) of section 10 -262f of the general statutes be 1
amended to redefine "foundation" by increasing the amount and 2
including a provision to provide for annual increases based on certain 3
economic indicators. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the per pupil foundation amount of the education cost
sharing grant formula and adding a process for annual increases of such
amount based on certain economic indicators.
