MESKERS of the 150th Dist., Chairperson of the Committee on
the part of the House, that the bill ought to pass.

AN ACT CONCERNING WORKFORCE SHORTAGES, WORKFORCE
DEVELOPMENT AND WORKFORCE TRAINING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:

Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of Economic and 1
Community Development shall conduct a study of workforce shortages, 2
workforce development and workforce training availability. Such study 3
shall include, but need not be limited to, an analysis of the effect of such 4
shortages, development and training availability on commercial activity 5
in the state. Not later than January 1, 2027, the commissioner shall 6
submit a report, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the 7
general statutes, on the results of such study to the joint standing 8
committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters 9
relating to commerce. 10
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
