The Committee on Insurance and Real Estate reported through
REP. WOOD of the 29th Dist., Chairperson of the Committee on
the part of the House, that the bill ought to pass.

AN ACT CONCERNING INSURANCE REGULATION IN THE STATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:

Section 1. ( Effective from passage ) The Insurance Commissioner shall 1
conduct a study concerning insurance regulation in the state. Not later 2
than January 1, 2027 , the commissioner shall submit a report, in 3
accordance with the provisions of section 11 -4a of the general statutes, 4
concerning the results of such study to the joint standing committee of 5
the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to 6
insurance. 7
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
