AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF A GARDEN AT YORK CORRECTIONAL
INSTITUTION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:

That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3 -20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
fifty thousand dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the 4
Department of Correction for the purpose of establishing a garden at the 5
York Correctional Institution to grow produce for the inmates. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding for a garden at York Correctional Institution to grow
fresh produce for the inmates.
