the part of the Senate, that the bill ought to pass.

AN ACT CONCERNING MANUFACTURING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:

Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of Economic and 1
Community Development shall conduct a study relating to the needs of 2
manufacturers in the state. Not later than January 1, 2027, the 3
Department of Economic and Community Development shall submit a 4
report of the results of such study to the joint standing committee of the 5
General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to commerce, 6
in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes. 7
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
