AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR PLANS AND
DESIGNS TO REMOVE OLD PAPERMILL POND DAM IN THE TOWN
OF SPRAGUE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:

That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3 -20 of the 2
general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
one million dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the 4
Department of Energy and Environmental Protection for the purpose of 5
providing a grant-in-aid to the town of Sprague for the development of 6
plans and designs to remove Old Papermill Pond Dam. 7
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding for the development of plans and designs to remove
Old Papermill Pond Dam in the town of Sprague.
