AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY OF PROGRAMS ADMINISTERED BY
THE DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC AND COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:

Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of Economic and 1
Community Development shall conduct a study of programs 2
administered by the Department of Economic and Community 3
Development. Such study shall include, but need not be limited to, (1) 4
information for the previous t hree-year period on participation in each 5
department program, (2) program quality controls in place, (3) program 6
expenditures in relation to program utilization, and (4) department 7
funding and expenditures by account . Not later than January 1, 202 7, 8
the commissioner shall submit a report, in accordance with the 9
provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, on the results of such 10
study to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having 11
cognizance of matters relating to commerce. 12
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
