AN ACT CONCERNING THE BOARD OF PARDONS AND PAROLES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:

Section 1. Subsection (c) of section 54 -124a of the general statutes is 1
repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective July 1, 2
2026): 3
(c) Ten of the members of the board shall devote full time to the 4
performance of their duties under this section and shall be compensated 5
therefor in such amount as the Commissioner of Administrative 6
Services determines, subject to the provisions of section 4 -40. The other 7
members of the board shall receive , [one hundred ten dollars for each 8
day spent in] within available appropriations, a per diem payment in 9
such amount as the Commissioner of Administrative Services 10
determines, subject to the provisions of section 4-40, for the performance 11
of their duties and additionally shall be reimbursed for necessary 12
expenses incurred in the performance of such duties. The chairperson 13
or, in the chairperson's absence or inability to act, a member designated 14
by the chairperson to serve temporarily as chairperson, shall be present 15
at all meetings of the board and participate in all decisions. 16
