TO

HOUSE BILL NO. 96

AMEND House Bill No. 96 on line 13 by deleting “

status.

” as it appears therein and inserting in lieu thereof “

status, where there is a finding such activity is occurring.

”.

FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 96 by inserting the following after line 21:

“

(6) The report required under paragraph (a)(5) of this section must not contain the name or identifying information of any individuals subject to the request for assistance.

(7) The requirements of paragraph (a)(5) of this section do not apply to any investigation of human trafficking.

(8) The Department of Justice must promulgate regulations or an instructional memorandum to state agencies to effectuate the provisions of reporting under paragraph (a)(5) of this section.

”.
