TO

HOUSE SUBSTITUTE NO. 1

FOR

HOUSE BILL NO. 404

AMEND House Substitute No. 1 for House Bill No. 404 on line 115 by deleting the date “

September 30, 2030

” as it appears therein and inserting in lieu thereof the date “

September 30, 2031

”.

FURTHER AMEND House Substitute No. 1 for House Bill No. 404 by inserting after line 117 and before line 118 the following accordingly:

“Section 2. This Act shall be effective immediately and implemented July 1, 2027.”

FURTHER AMEND House Substitute No. 1 for House Bill No. 404 by deleting lines 118 and 119 and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

“Section 3. This Act expires 3 years after the end of the 2027-2028 school year, unless extended by subsequent action of the General Assembly.”
