TO

HOUSE BILL NO. 119

AMEND House Bill No. 119 by deleting lines 27 through 30 in their entirety and inserting in lieu thereof:

“

(2) A public library may not exclude or remove material from its catalog solely because of the origin, background, or views of a person who created the material.

(3) A public library may not exclude or remove material from its catalog solely because of partisan, ideological, or religious disapproval.

”.
