Makes it against the rules for school resource officers and constables to help federal law enforcement with immigration unless they get permission from Delaware's Attorney General first.

Limits and Unknowns
Does not specify what happens if school officials do not follow the rules about getting permission.
The bill does not say how often or under what circumstances federal agencies might request cooperation from school resource officers and constables.
It is unclear how this law will be enforced or what penalties there are for breaking it.
Amendments
These notes stay tied to the official amendment files and metadata from the legislature.
Plain English: The amendment adds language to clarify that state law enforcement can only cooperate with federal agencies in civil immigration matters, and it sets a 48-hour deadline for the Attorney General to respond to such cooperation requests.
Adds 'civil' before 'immigration' on line 5 of HB93 to specify that cooperation is limited to civil immigration enforcement activities.
Inserts new section (c) after line 18, setting a 48-hour deadline for the Attorney General's response to requests for cooperation in civil immigration matters.
The amendment does not provide details on what happens if the Attorney General responds negatively within the 48-hour period.
