HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 7

AMENDING THE RULES OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 153RD GENERAL ASSEMBLY RELATING SETTING A DATE CERTAIN FOR A BILL TO BE HEARD ON THE AGENDA.

NOW, THEREFORE:

BE IT RESOLVED by the House of Representatives of the 153rd General Assembly of the State of Delaware that Rule 10 of the Rules of the House of Representatives of the 153rd General Assembly be amended by deleting Rule 10 in its entirety and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

“RULE 10 – SETTING THE AGENDA.

(a) The Speaker sets the Agenda and shall place items on the Agenda under subsection (b) of this Rule.

(b) A House bill or resolution on the ready list may be placed on the Agenda by the Prime Sponsor. A Senate bill or resolution on the ready list may be placed on the agenda by the Floor Manager. The Floor Manager of a Senate bill or resolution is the House member who is listed first to the right of the word “SPONSOR” on the upper right side of the first page of a bill or resolution.”.
