SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1

TO

HOUSE BILL NO. 82

AMEND House Bill No. 82 by deleting line 17 in its entirety and substituting in lieu thereof the following:

“(a)

FURTHER AMEND House Bill No. 82 after line 24 and before line 25 by inserting the following:

c. A school board member whose absence from the district is due to an event that can neither be anticipated nor controlled is not considered absent during such time for purposes of a calculation under paragraph (a)(1)a. of this section.
