SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 4

TO

SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 2

AMEND Senate Resolution No. 2 on line 682 by deleting “legislative” and inserting in lieu thereof “calendar”.

FURTHER AMEND Senate Resolution No. 2 on line 683 by inserting the following after “committee.”:

“For a bill or resolution to be considered on the same calendar day the bill or resolution is reported out of committee, the leadership of the Senate minority caucus must provide consent.”.

SYNOPSIS

This Amendment prohibits the Senate from considering a bill or resolution on the same calendar day that the bill or resolution is reported out of committee, unless the leadership of the Senate minority caucus consents.
