SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 127

EXTENDING THE REPORTING DATE OF THE AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE REFORM TASK FORCE.

WHEREAS, the Automobile Insurance Reform Task Force (“Task Force”) was established under Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 111 of the 153nd General Assembly; and

WHEREAS, the Task Force was directed to submit its findings and recommendations report no later than January 30, 2026; and

WHEREAS, the Task Force continues to study and make findings on addressing the rising cost of automobile insurance, which requires additional time and consideration.

NOW, THEREFORE:

BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the 153rd General Assembly of the State of Delaware, the House of Representatives concurring therein, that the date by which the findings and recommendations report of the Automobile Insurance Reform Task Force is due to be extended to March 10, 2026.

SYNOPSIS

This concurrent resolution extends the due date of the findings and recommendations report of the Automobile Insurance Reform Task Force from January 30, 2026 to March 10, 2026.
