BEITENACTEDBYTHECOUNCILOFTHEDISTRICTOFCOLUMBIA,Thatthis
actmaybecitedasthe“UniformCollegeAthleteName,Image,orLikenessTemporary
AmendmentActof2025”.
Sec.2.Section215oftheUniformCollegeAthleteName,Image,orLikenessActof2022,effectiveFebruary23,2023(D.C.Law24-245;D.C.OfficialCode§38-1631.05),is
amendedasfollows(a)Subsection(a)isamendedasfollows:(1)Paragraph(2)isamendedbystrikingthephrase“;and”andinsertinga
semicoloninitsplace.(2)Paragraph(3)isamendedbystrikingthephrase“;and”andinsertinga
semicoloninitsplace.(3)Newparagraphs(4)and(5)areaddedtoreadasfollows:“(4)Withselecting,arrangingfor,orprovidingpaymenttoaname,image,or
likenessagent;and“(5)Withselecting,arrangingfor,orcollectingpaymentfromathirdparty
engagedinspecificname,image,orlikenessagreementswithacollegeathleteorathletes.”.
(b)Subsection(¢)isrepealed.
