Toauthorize,onanemergencybasis,theDeputyMayorforPlanningandEconomicDevelopmenttoissueagrantinFiscalYear2025or2026totheAfricanAmericanCivil‘WarMemorialFreedomFoundation,Inc.forthepurposeofredevelopingtheAfricanAmericanCivilWarMuseum.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
actmaybecitedasthe“AfricanAmericanCivilWarMuseumLimitedGrant-MakingAuthorityEmergencyAmendmentActof2025”.
Sec.2.Section2032oftheDeputyMayorforPlanningandEconomicDevelopment
LimitedGrant-MakingAuthorityActof2012,effectiveSeptember20,2012(D.C.Law19-168;D.C.Code§1-328.04),isamendedbyaddinganewsubsection(kk)toreadasfollows:“(kk)NotwithstandingtheGrantAdministrationActof2013,effectiveDecember24,2013(D.C.Law20-61;D.C.OfficialCode§1-328.11efseq.),theDeputyMayormaymakeagrantinFiscalYear2025or2026totheAfricanAmericanCivilWarMemorialFreedomFoundation,Inc.forthepurposeofredevelopingtheAfticanAmericanCivilWarMuseum,locatedat1925VermontAvenue,NW.”.
