Toamend,onatemporarybasis,theDeputyMayorforPlanningandEconomicDevelopmentLimitedGrant-MakingAuthorityActof2012toauthorizetheDeputyMayorforPlanningandEconomicDevelopmenttoissueagrantinFiscalYear2025or2026totheAfricanAmericanCivilWarMemorialFreedomFoundation,Inc.forthepurposeofredevelopingtheAfricanAmericanCivilWarMuseum.
BEITENACTEDBYTHECOUNCILOFTHEDISTRICTOFCOLUMBIA,Thatthisactmaybecitedasthe“AfricanAmericanCivilWarMuseumLimitedGrant-MakingAuthority‘TemporaryAmendmentActof2025”.
Sec.2.Section2032oftheDeputyMayorforPlanningandEconomicDevelopmentLimitedGrant-MakingAuthorityActof2012,effectiveSeptember20,2012(D.C.Law19-168;D.C.Code§1-328.04),isamendedbyaddinganewsubsection(kk)toreadasfollows:
“(kk)NotwithstandingtheGrantAdministrationActof2013,effectiveDecember24,
2013(D.C.Law20-61;D.C.OfficialCode§1-328.11efseq.),theDeputyMayormaymakeagrantinFiscalYear2025or2026totheAfricanAmericanCivilWarMemorialFreedomFoundation,Inc.forthepurposeofredevelopingtheAfricanAmericanCivilWarMuseum,locatedat1925VermontAvenue,NW.”.
