BEITENACTEDBYTHECOUNCILOFTHEDISTRICTOFCOLUMBIA,Thatthisactmaybecitedasthe“PersonalDeliveryDeviceWeightLimitTemporaryAmendmentActof2025”.
Sec.2.ThePersonalDeliveryDeviceActof2018,effectiveJuly17,2018(D.C.Law22-137;D.C.OfficialCode§50-110.01efseg.),isamendedasfollows:
(a)Section2(8\(B)(D.C.OfficialCode§50-110.01(8)(B))isrepealed.
(b)Section4(b)(D.C.OfficialCode§50-110.03(b))isamendedasfollows:(1)Paragraph(4)isamendedbystrikingthephrase“;and”andinsertingasemicoloninitsplace.(2)Paragraph(5)isamendedbystrikingtheperiodandinsertingthephrase“;and”initsplace.(3)A newparagraph(6)isaddedtoreadasfollows:“(@)Notexceed250poundsinweight,excludinganypropertybeingcarriedbythePDD,orahigherweightlimitestablishedbytheDepartmentthroughrulemaking.”.
