Toamend,onatemporarybasis,theDistrictofColumbiaHealthOccupationsRevisionActof1985andtheConsentforVaccinationofMinorsAmendmentActof2022toauthorizehealthcareprovidersintheDistricttoorderandadministerimmunizationsrecommendedbycompetentmedicalandpublichealthorganizationsdesignatedbytheDirectoroftheDepartmentofHealth.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, Thatthis
actmay be citedasthe“Community HealthTemporary Amendment Act of 2025”.
Sec.2.TheDistrictofColumbiaHealthOccupationsRevisionActof1985,effectiveMarch25,1986(D.C.Law6-99;D.C.OfficialCode§3-1201.01efseq.),isamendedasfollows:
(a)Section102(11)(A)(D.C.OfficialCode§3-1201.02(11)(A))isamendedbystrikingthephrase“inaccordancewiththeCentersforDiseaseControlandPrevention’spublishedguidelinesandrecommendedimmunizationschedules”andinsertingthephrase“inaccordancewiththepublishedguidelinesandrecommendedimmunizationschedulesoftheAdvisoryCommitteeonImmunizationPracticesoftheCentersforDiseaseControlandPreventionoracompetentmedicalorpublichealthorganizationdesignatedbytheDirectoroftheDepartmentofHealththroughapublicnotice”initsplace
(b)Section755(a-1)(D.C.OfficialCode§3-1207.55(a-1))isamendedbystrikingthephrase“inaccordancewiththeCentersforDiseaseControlandPrevention’spublishedguidelinesandrecommendedimmunizationschedules”andinsertingthephrase“inaccordancewiththepublishedguidelinesandrecommendedimmunizationschedulesoftheAdvisoryCommitteeonImmunizationPracticesoftheCentersforDiseaseControlandPreventionoracompetentmedicalorpublichealthorganizationdesignatedbytheDirectoroftheDepartmentofHealththroughapublicnotice”initsplace.

effectiveMarch10,2023(D.C.Law24-312;D.C.OfficialCode§7-1653.01),isamendedas
