BEITENACTEDBYTHECOUNCILOFTHEDISTRICTOFCOLUMBIA,ThatthisactmaybecitedastheLanguageAccessRulemakingTemporaryAmendmentActof2025”.
Sec.2.Section6 of theLanguage Access Act of 2004, effectiveJune 19,2004 (D.C. Law
15-167;D.C.OfficialCode§2-1935),isamendedbyaddinganewsubsection(c)toreadasfollows:“(c)The Mayor, pursuantto TitleIof theDistrictof Columbia AdministrativeProcedure
Act,approvedOctober21,1968(82Stat.1204;D.C.OfficialCode§2-501etseq.),shallissuerulestoimplementtheprovisionsofthisact.”.
Sec.3Applicability.
ThisactshallapplyasofJune19,2004.
Sec.4.Fiscalimpactstatement.
TheCounciladoptsthefiscalimpactstatementoftheBudgetDirectorasthefiscalimpactstatementrequiredbysection4aoftheGeneralLegislativeProceduresActof1975,approvedOctober16,2006(120Stat.2038;D.C.OfficialCode§1-301.47a).
