Community Health Congressional Review Emergency Amendment Act of 2025

This law allows healthcare providers in Washington, D.C., to give vaccines based on schedules from the CDC's Advisory Committee or other health groups chosen by the city's Department of Health.

What This Bill Does

  • Changes existing laws so doctors and nurses can follow vaccine rules set by a new type of organization approved by the city.
  • Lets the Director of the District of Columbia Department of Health name specific medical or public health groups through a public notice.
  • Updates rules to allow vaccines if they are recommended by these designated groups, not just federal guidelines.

  • The Director of the Department of Health in Washington, D.C.
  • Medical or public health organizations that may be chosen to set vaccine rules
