BEIT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
actmaybecitedasthe“RentalHousingRegistrationDataIntegrityTemporaryAmendmentActof 2026”.
Sec.2.Section205(f)oftheRentalHousingActof1985,July17,1985(D.C.Law6-10;D.C.OfficialCode§42-3502.05(f)),isamendedbyaddinganewparagraph(5)toreadas
follows:“(5)(A)Theownerofarentalaccommodationthatisexemptfromrentstabilizationpursuanttosubsection(a)ofthissectionshall,atthetimeofregistration,providethefollowinginformationforeachrentalunit:“(i)Thecurrentmonthlyrentamount;“(ii)Themonthlyrentamountchargedforthesameunitduringeachofthe2priorcalendaryears;and“Gii)Theutilities,facilitiesandservices,andappliances.“(B)Theinformationrequiredundersubparagraph(A)ofthisparagraphshallbesubmittedonlyatthetimeofregistrationandshallnotbesubjecttoanyongoingotannualreportingrequirements.”.
