BE IT ENACTED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
actmay be citedas the“NationalsBallparkAmended and RestatedLease Emergency Act of
2026”.
Sec.2.NotwithstandingtheProcurement PracticesReform Actof 2010, effectiveApril8,
2011 (D.C.Law 18-371;D.C. OfficialCode § 2-351.01et seg.),and An Act Authorizingthesale
of certainrealestateintheDistrictof Columbia no longerrequiredforpublicpurposes,approved
August 5, 1939 (53 Stat.1211;D.C. OfficialCode § 10-801 etseq.),theCouncilapproves,
pursuanttosection451 of theDistrictof Columbia Home Rule Act,approved December 24,
1973 (87 Stat.803;D.C. OfficialCode § 1-204.51),and theWashington Convention and Sports
Authority(“EventsDC”) may enterinto,theAmended and RestatedLease Agreement between
EventsDC and Washington NationalsStadium,LLC, submittedby EventsDC on March 2,
2026.
