BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
actmay be citedas the“VolunteerServicesClarificationEmergency Amendment Act of 2026”.
Sec.2,Section3oftheVolunteersServicesActof1977,effectiveJune28,1977(D.
Law 2-12;D.C.OfficialCode§ 1-319.02),isamendedbystrikingthephrase“Districtof
Columbia Board of Education”and insertingthephrase“Districtof Columbia Board of
Education,AttorneyGeneralforthe Districtof Columbia,”initsplace.

Sec.3.ApplicabilityThisactshallapplyasofApril15,2026.
