theAttomeyGeneral’suseofvolunteers.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this
actmay be citedasthe “VolunteerServicesClarificationTemporary Amendment Act of 2026”.
Sec.2.Section3of the VolunteersServicesAct of 1977,effectiveJune 28, 1977 (D.C.
Law 2-12;D.C. OfficialCode § 1-319.02),isamended by strikingthephrase“Districtof
Columbia Board of Education”and insertingthephrase“Officeof theStateSuperintendentof
Education,AttorneyGeneralfortheDistrictof Columbia,”in itsplace.

Sec.3.Applicability.
ThisactshallapplyasofApril15,2026.
